History Comes Alive - RJ Lindsey creates history portrayals!

Chicago actor RJ Lindsey has created 20 first person historical characters. His portrayals have been presented in Israel, England and throughout the United States. Specially written programs have been performed at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. and for the 1996 Democratic National Convention.

Lindsey has appeared on stage as Elwood in Harvey, Escalus in Measure For Measure, Shrike in Miss Lonelyhearts, Murray in A Thousand Clowns, Freddy in Noises Off, and Rev. Parris in The Crucible.

Television films include Will and She Stood Alone.

Lindsey earned a Masters degree from Illinois State University and is a member of Actor's Equity, the Screen Actor's Guild, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, the Society of Civil War Surgeons and the Association of Lincoln Presenters.
