| Bill Gray's photographic interests began as a child, taking pictures with a small camera of his family, friends and neighborhood. While in his teens, Bill experimented with movies but later returned to still photography. In the U.S. Army he kept a photojournal of his life as a trainee, and later as a combat lieutenant in Viet Nam. Upon discharge from the Army he studied photography at the University of Maryland at College Park, and later received a B.S. in both Elementary and Special Education. Bill continues to expand his interests and skills, and over the years has been drawn increasingly to the beauty, simplicity and serenity of nature. |
